Willard “Bill” Smith Jr, a longtime resident of Detroit, Michigan passed away after fighting cancer for 12 long years on November 14th 2022. He was born on July 2nd 1963 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Willard & Mildred Smith. Bill was a 41 year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed having fun with his family & friends, watching all sports- especially Alabama football in honor of his families home state, drinking ice cold Budweisers, and spending time with his fur baby Fred.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Willard & Mildred, his aunt Louise, and many other aunts and uncles who lived in Alabama.

Bill is survived by his wife Kerri, son Michael (Tiffany), daughter Courtney, his sister Diana (and the late Bob), brother Ted (Janet), brother Dennis (Beverly), sister Ronda (Skip), his close cousins Peach, Debbie and Kenny, in-laws Gene and Sue Flynn, sister in-law Kate, and brother in-law Jerry (Mary). Bill also had many many nieces and nephews who he loved very much, as well as many friends that he was very close with.
