  My condolences to the family. Mr. Mont was a great friend, a great man. I have many wonderful memories and I will always cherish the friendship, the conversations, the advise, the encouragement given for my sons, his love for his children and the grandchildren. After I moved to Texas we talked a few times and he told me he was having some health challenges and the last few times I called him, I could only leave a message. I am truly saddened by his passing.   Ron Rabine

  I met Walt when I came home age 5 for dinner and he and his wife were over as my father and he did business. I wont lie he was the first black man I ever met and was BIG. Well dad passed 42 years ago and Walt and I remained friend and did business. His warm gentle ways led to a life shaping moment that stayed with me through life. Such a joyful laugh sly wit and twinkle in his eye we could talk about anything. The world feels empty knowing he is passed. Peace be with him and the family.
