I offer my sincere condolences to her beloved children and grandchildren. Velina was a very warm spirit with a heart of gold. She always showed love and respect to everyone who encountered her. To the family of Velina Howard: Please extend my condolences to all of you. For all of you are so fortunate to have one another. Please continue to stay even more closer, as I am sure that is what Velina would want you to do. Love to all. Dear Velina I am missing you. You lived your life being available to all those around who depended upon you. I am guessing that God has decided it is now time for you to come home and rest from all your labor. You can now be at peace. You lived your life as an angel. Now you are at home among them. You can now be at rest. I know you had wonderful plans and surprises install to help others around you. To deposit into their lives frienship, love and the importance of keeping the family together. As an outsider, this is how I saw Velina living her life. Those around you now will wait upon you. You can now slow down and enjoy the fruit of your labor. Love Linda

My heart goes out to the family and friends. I was there with Velina until EMS arrived. I had just left my grandmother's apartment after cleaning it out because of her recent death. As I stood there in disbelief I asked God for strength and I was able to say a prayer for Velina. I'm still lost with words but my heart remains the same. I'm praying for you all.
