Timothy Joseph (TJ) Perkins, died on December 19, 2021, perishing alone, a victim of COVID 19. TJ was born on August 13, 1957, in Detroit Michigan to Elizabeth Louise Perkins (Palm) and Lloyd William Perkins, Sr. the fifth of their six children. He graduated from Redford Union High School in 1976, spending the next 26 years working for Cambridge Nursing Homes, retiring in 2002.

Known for his easy charm and ready sense of humor, Tim achieved the love and respect of those close to him for the challenges he confronted and his success in overcoming them.

Tim was preceded in death by his soulmate Diane, parents Lloyd and Elizabeth Perkins, his sisters Frances Perkins Gebrokoff and husband Carl Gebrokoff and sister Pamela Perkins Brady. Tim is survived by his sister Ellen Perkins Parrinello and her husband Michael, sister Lorrie Perkins Morris and her husband Michael, a brother Lloyd Perkins as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Fisher Funeral Home with internment at Cadillac West Gardens in Westland, Michigan.
