Obituary For Tamara Louise Tatum

Tamara Louise Tatum passed away on November 15th, 2021 as the snow fell. Tamara is survived by her children David (Jennifer) Tatum, Mandy (Jose) Gonzalez, and Noah (Elizabeth) Tatum, as well as her 13 grandchildren. Tamara was born in Salem, Oregon on December 13th, 1960. She grew up in Maple Rapids, Michigan where she met her husband Tom Tatum.

Tammy was a wild spirit. She loved adventure and she loved nature. She cherished every season, especially Christmas. When she wasn't traveling with her husband Tom and her children, she would pour herself into the arts. She loved to draw and especially loved to paint. She also loved music and even wrote some songs, one about the Black Stallion. We have fond memories of her playing it on the guitar. Tammy was full of life and she loved to laugh. You could pick out her laugh from anywhere. You could always count on her for a good joke to break the ice in an uncomfortable room. She was also bold and never shied away from speaking her mind. Tammy had a genuine faith in the Lord. She trusted The Bible, often prayed in the spirit and preached the Gospel to any and all would listen. Weather in line at the grocery store or enduring another tough session of dialysis.

Tammy was one of a kind, and while she will be sorely missed, we know this was merely an address change and has a new mansion in heaven.
