Susan Benton - originally from Detroit, Michigan - left this world on March 13, 2025 at the age of 75.

Sue is deeply missed by her son John, sister Debra, and sister-in-law Patricia. She was predeceased by her parents John and Marcelyn, brother Jeffrey, sisters Lisa and Mary Ann (the sister that we never got to meet) and nephews Curt and Michael.

Sue was petite, beautiful, artistically gifted and a wonderful cook. She was a talented seamstress who crafted much of her own clothing over the years.

A devoted sports fan, Sue especially loved watching hockey and cheering for her beloved Detroit Red Wings. She had a deep affection for animals, particularly cats. She loved many genres of music and one of her favorite groups was the Rolling Stones.

Sue was a generous person who touched many lives over the years - family, friends, co-workers and others.

In honor of Sue’s memory, donations may be made to the American Stroke Foundation, the American Heart Association, Michigan Humane, or your local animal shelter or rescue organization.
