Shawn Lantzy, a longtime resident of Waterford, Michigan, passed away on November 17, 2021 surrounded by his family and close friends.

Shawn was born on January 23, 1969 to Ken and Kay Lantzy. He married his “ Once in a Lifetime” (Theresa) on June 26, 2020.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, Duck Hunting with his son (Colby), father (Ken) and cousin ( Kevin), he was a good friend to many, and a great father, and stepfather. He enjoyed time with his grandchildren and took great pride in his home. Shawn rarely sat down, always tinkering with something or starting some new home renovation.

Shawn was an excellent dart player, having won many trophies and cash awards over the years.

He enjoyed camping, fishing and various other outdoor activities.

Shawn was proceeded in death by his mother (Kay).

He was survived by his wife ,(Theresa);his father,(Ken);and Stepmother,( Terry); his son,(Colby); daughter,(Alexis) and her children ( Axle and Emslee); his sister (Heather Schnitker) and her husband (Paul), along with their children. His stepdaughter, ( Whitney VanElls), her husband (Jake) and their children (Tristan, Colson and Leighton); his stepson, (Ashton) and his children, (Ella and Ashlyn); his mother and father in law, ( Pauline and John Fitzpatrick); his father in law, (Don Endert); along with many extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life, along with a Memorial ride was held for Shawn in May of 2022. There will be a memorial ride held annually in his honor.
