Sharon Margaret Provost, was born to Jean & Lorenzo Tansil, November 11, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan. She was the eldest of seven children born to this union. She was educated in the Detroit Public School System. Sharon worked for Great Lake Steel Corporation for many years.

Sharon loved The Lord. She was a dedicated member of Detroit World Outreach Ministry in Redford MI were she was an active member of the Senior Saints Choir. She loved spending time with her grandchildren at various church functions. She was well known for her delicious Potato Salad that was expected at every holiday and family function. She was also known for her signature “red” lipstick and nail polish. She had a beautiful infectious smile that would brighten any room. She married Bruce Edward Provost. To this union was born 3 daughters LaShawn, LaTrice, LaTori and 1 son Bruce Jr.

Preceding Sharon in death are her husband Bruce Provost, her parents Lorenzo and Jean Tansil, her sister Regina Tansil and nephew Daryl King.

She leaves to cherish her memory her 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 sister, 4 brothers, 1 son-in-law, 1 granddaughter-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
