Seyoum Omari Pye, 42, of Lathrup Village, MI, passed away on March 24, 2021. Seyoum was born in Detroit on December 27, 1978. He graduated from Washington Career Center. Seyoum was affectionately known by Pye to many who knew him. He was known to befriend everyone he met -- always with a smile on his face and his infectious laugh. If you really got to know Seyoum, you would soon come to know that he was really funny, his jokes were intentional and would come out of nowhere. He was always enjoyable to be around, which is why so many people loved him. Seyoum was known to drop in unexpectedly to visit people he cared for and seemed to remember everyone he ever met. Seyoum is survived by his mother Georgelyn Pye; his father Ronald Pye and stepmother Brenda; his sisters, Ayanna Eggleston, Morenika Pasha and brother, Kimani Pasha; his son, Saire Williams; his nephew Damon Omari Eggleston; along with a host of aunties, uncles, cousins, and so many other family, adopted family and friends who already miss him so very much. In lieu of flowers for us, we ask you to intentionally hold tightly to those you love. Don't let a day go by without expressing your love for them. An occasional call to check on us will always be received with extreme gratitude and love. Our family wishes to thank all who send their love, greetings and prayers during this very difficult time. No memorial service will be held at this time.
