Obituary For Roger Tyrone Green

Roger Tyrone Green, a beloved Husband, Father, Son and Brother, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025 at the age of 58 in Taylor, MI. He was born on February 11, 1967 to Roger and Donna Green.

Roger graduated from Redford High School in 1985 and worked in the Food Business at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan for over 25 years serving others. He met the love of his life, “Chontay” in 1994 and married her on March 6, 1998, in which they were dedicated to each other in union for 27 years, Also, through this union he inherited four daughters, whom he loved very much.

Roger had great love for Sports and Music, especially Baseball in which he played in the Little League Baseball as a kid. He loved playing old music and listening to his favorite group, “The Dramatics” of which his Uncle sang in.

On May 10, 2008, he dedicated himself to Jehovah God and became one of his Witnesses for which he served for many years.

Roger is survived by his wife Chontay Green, four daughters; Christian, Sherry, Nakita and Jessica. His parents, Roger and Donna Green, one brother, Kevin (Lori) Green of Columbus, Oh, one sister Lynia (Alonzo) White of Columbus, Oh and fifteen grandchildren; Kamyrah, RJ, Kimora, Melanie, Mariah, Jacob, Aiden, Myla, Alijah, Mia, Adrian, Araya, Naomi, Juba, and Junior our bonus grandson. His Mother-In-Law Sherry (Twyman), two Brothers-In-Law and four Sisters-In-Law, eleven nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews.

Even though he is not here in body, Roger will always be with us in mind and spirit and will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
