Richard Alan Erchenbrecher, age 80, passed away December 17, 2021 at his home in Livonia, MI. He was born in Fremont, Ohio on November 5, 1941. He is survived by his wife Theresa (Spade) and sons Andrew, Teron and Mark and his brother Michael Erchenbrecher. He graduated from Shelby High School in 1959 and attended Ohio State University, North Central Technical College and Kent State University. He worked as an Industrial Engineer at American Plastic Toys and in the auto industry and retired from FCA. He was predeceased by his parents Leland and Mary Katherine (Schafer) Erchenbrecher and his brother David. He was an avid sports fan and inspired a love of animals and tropical fish in his sons and brother. Cremation will take place. No memorial service is planned at this time.
