REBECCA RANEE RATH of Dearborn Heights, Michigan - Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and niece passed away unexpectedly on Saturday August 3, 2019 at the age of 28.Rebecca was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on August 14, 1990 the daughter of John Joseph and Tena (Strader) Rath.She graduated from Tecumseh High School in 2008 and went on to attain a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from Western Michigan University. Rebecca later attended Columbia University in New York City where she continued her pursuit of higher education in the study of psychology.Rebecca was intelligent, beautiful, witty, and charming with a smile that could light up a room and your heart. She was an avid animal lover who enjoyed being out in nature.In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her aunts Julia and Judith, and nephew Eric Lynch. Rebecca is survived by her mother Tena, Lenny Rood, brothers; John Rath (Carlie), Jeffrey Adickes (Amanda), and Tim Rath (Kathleen), and sisters; Jackie Rath, and Linda Beckington, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, boyfriend Adam Balavich and her beloved cat Louis.
