
Robert S. Pavlik, 86, Devoted father, Fiancée, Brother and Grandfather
Robert Pavlik, 86, passed away peacefully on April 23rd, 2025, surrounded by love and family. A man of deep Catholic faith, Robert lived a life full of devotion, warmth and joy. He was parishioner at St. Scholastica church, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister for many years.
He is survived by his beloved fiancée, Vickie Burkholder, and his cherished children: Teresa La Ford, friend (Richard); Robert Pavlik (Tina); Lawrence Pavlik (Ivana); Sharon Dustin (John); Susan Poole (Robert) and Steven Ramus (Marcy). Robert was also a loving brother to MaryJo Taschler (Pete).
He was a proud grandfather to 15 grandchildren and a doting great-grandfather to 10 great-grandchildren, as well as an uncle to several nieces and nephews.
His legacy lives on in each of them, a reflection of the values and love he so generously shared,
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mary Pavlik, and his brother, Gerald Pavlik.
He was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures – dancing, singing, fishing and travelling were among his favorite pastimes – but nothing brought him more happiness than time spent with his family.
Robert will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. His memory will forever live in the hearts of those he loved.

Interment: Burial will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 17100 Van Dyke Avenue, Detroit, Mich 48234.
