
Patricia Odom, affectionately known as Pat, was born on March 11, 1962, in Detroit, MI, to Charles and Rosetta Odom. From the beginning, she radiated strength, grace, and a fierce sense of purpose that would define the life she lived.
She accepted Christ at an early age, remaining true to her faith through adulthood.
She was a proud graduate of Detroit Public Schools then went on to pursue a career as a Cosmetologist, where she not only worked hard but uplifted others along the way.
She raised three beautiful children Jeffrey, Lamar and Toi. As a mother, sister, friend, and mentor, she poured love into everyone she met — nurturing spirits, offering wisdom, and standing as a pillar of strength.
She was preceded in death by her first-born son Delano Denard Odom, her parents;Charles and Rosetta Odom, Four sisters, Pamela Williams, Debra Odom, Crystal Hall, Angela Odom-Averette (Joe), Two brothers Steven Clayton and Charles Odom.
She leaves to cherish two sons, Jeffrey Odom (Ivory), Lamar Odom, Toi Beavers (Jarrett); one brother, Michael Odom; grandchildren; Jeffrey Odom Jr., Jarrett Beavers Jr., Jaise Beavers, one great grandson Ja’Sai Odom and a host of nieces,nephews, close family and friends.
She was a woman of faith, resilience, and unshakable dignity — a true queen who carried herself with elegance and pride. Her legacy is not just in the things she accomplished but in the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely.
