NORMAN ALLEN JONES JR

We do not understand the mysteries of death, but it is heritage of great faith that we lay our blessed deceased away. NORMAN ALLEN JONES JR was born February 7, 1966 in Eloise, Michigan. He was the second child and only son of 2 children born to Cheryl Renee Devrille and Norman Allen Jones Sr.

Norman attended Detroit Public Schools and got a Degree In Culinary Arts. Norman accepted and had a love for Christ at an early age. He studied religion at St Lawrence Cemetery from 1980 though 1981. He attended many Churches and he loved all religions.

He was handsome, funny, smart, full of energy and loved to talk. He worked at many well know establishments, throughout his life. But during the last years he established a Company in Inkster and he was also known as "Macy Mike", he was well known in the City of Inkster and everybody that knew him, loved him. He was a phenomenal husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many, and he'll be truly missed.

His sudden and unexpected demise came on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 but his passing has not dimmed our love, admiration and devotion that we held for him. He left behind a beautiful wife of 30 Years Stephanie Jones, 3 sons, Devin, Christian, Javon and 2 daughters Carmen, and Carlita, a Granddaughter Jada, his mother Cheryl Moffett (Gary), his sister Stephanie Stoudermire (Luzell), a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends. He will be truly missed.

When I must leave you for a little while, start out bravely with a smile. Please don't grieve and shed wild tears But hug your sorrow to you through the years And for the sake and in his name, live on and do all things the same. Feed not your loneliness on empty days, But fill each waking hour in useful ways. Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer, and I in turn will comfort you and hold you near.

YOU NEVER SAID GOODBYE

You never said I'm leaving, you never said goodbye, Your were gone before I knew it, and only God knew why.

A million times I needed you, a million times I cried, If love alone could you, you never would have died.

In life I loved you dearly, In death I love you still, In my heart you hold a place, That no one could ever fill.

It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone, For part of me went with you, the day God took your home.

Norman was my favorite cousin, I would just like my brother. Being 1st cousins was cool growing up. When I say I've never seen him without a smile, I mean that. He kept his personal life personal. He was a doting father as well. I know he's with his Aunt Connie, & Cousin Sean smiling down on us doing the same life thing. Keep my hugs for me. See you next lifetime. SUZANNE AKA Suzie Q

My deepest sympathy to Norman's family. He was one of my favorite nephews; always smiling, good natured and proud of his family. He loved to hear me call his by his full name NormanAllen Jones - that was "our special thing". I'll always remember him coming to my 80th Birthday Party and swimming in the pool. He always managed to have fun and enjoy life. I and my entire family will miss Norman.
