Dear Family and Friends of Brother McCree, My heart is with you as you reflect on a life that was clearly centered on Jehovah. Brother McCree's decades of faithful service since 1963 speak volumes. To dedicate one's life to Jehovah and then spend those years actively preaching, teaching, and sharing the good news is a beautiful legacy. That kind of steady devotion leaves an imprint that time cannot erase. It is moving to think of how much he loved the ministry. Jehovah takes note of such loyalty. Hebrews 6:10 assures us: "For God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love you showed for his name." Those words feel especially personal now. Jehovah remembers every return visit, every conversation, every effort Brother McCree made to honor His name. Nothing is lost to Him. For Sister McCree, the children, grandchildren, and the entire family circle, the ache of separation is real. Even Jesus gave way to tears at the loss of his dear friend (John 11:35). So it is not a lack of faith to feel the weight of grief. It is simply love expressing itself. Yet in that same account, Jesus said with confidence: "I am the resurrection and the life." (John 11:25) That promise is not symbolic or distant. It is solid, certain, and backed by Jehovah's power and desire to restore life. Revelation 21:4 holds out the tender assurance that Jehovah "will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more." What a forward-looking hope that is. The pain you feel today is temporary. The joy ahead is permanent. Soon, under Christ's Kingdom, families will be reunited, and faithful servants like Brother McCree will once again enjoy time with those they cherish—free from sickness, aging, and sorrow. It is comforting, too, to remember how Jehovah views those who fall asleep in death. Psalm 116:15 says: "Precious in the eyes of Jehovah is the death of his loyal ones." Brother McCree's life of faithfulness was precious to Jehovah, and so is his memory. We can be confident that Jehovah longs to restore him to everlasting life on a paradise earth. (Job 14:14,15; Ps. 37:29) Until that day, may the God of all comfort continue to strengthen each of you (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4). May the many memories of Brother McCree's faith, his industrious spirit, his love for family, and his joy in simple pleasures like fishing and time together bring warmth amid the sorrow. We look ahead with conviction, not uncertainty. The reunion will be real. The embrace will be warm. And Jehovah's promises never fail. With heartfelt love and Christian hope, Kevin Guillory, Jr.
