Obituary For Mavis Watkins- Johnson

Mavis Watkins-Johnson was born to Odis Buffington and Katie Grenning on April 20, 2021. She resided in Southfield, Michigan for over thirty years until she passed on February 26, 2021. She was proceeded in death by her son Darryl A. Watkins. She is survived by her two children Dwight A. Watkins and Darlene A. Watkins. Seven grandchildren and her siblings; Margie Williams, Margean Hicks, Murl Buffington, Mildred Turner, Odis Buffington Jr., Glenise Buffington and Shirley Buffington.

God blesses us with extradinary gifts during our lives. Often those gifts are in the form of an earth Angel. I met Mavis as a child, and she accepted me into her family unconditionally. I felt love and welcomed into her family and home whenever I was around her. She IS a beautiful, classy, like woman. I say "IS" because I believe we are ETERNAL beings.
