Obituary For Matthew Lee Taylor

Matthew Taylor is survived by his loving wife, Willow Taylor; his children, Octavia, Dawn, Michelle, and Ezekiel; his stepchildren, Hunter, Josilyn, and Veronika; his parents, Juanita Ramirez and Claud Taylor; his brother, Claud Thomas; his sisters, Sunshine and Cecila; and many nieces and nephews. Matt was Cecila’s 1st birthday gift as he was born on her birthday.

Matthew was a devoted father and one of the hardest-working mechanics. He enjoyed fishing and took great pride in adding to his coin collection. He had a heart of gold and a contagious smile. He was a spiritual man and was especially proud of his recent baptism.

He truly was an amazing man who will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

There will be a Celebration of Life service both in Michigan and Texas at a later date.

A GoFundMe has been set up for his family.

Matt and I were inseparable, more like brothers than friends. I was his shadow and he was mine; we went everywhere and did everything together. We were never apart, and his family truly became my family. Growing up in their home created a bond I will always carry with .e. Matt was easygoing with a great sense of houmor-a strong, independent, and hardworking person. Even though fate eventually separated us through incarceration and I didn't get to know him as a man, I've always wondered about the life he led and challenges he faced. I will always cherish our time together. These memories are like gold to me, as precious as a leprechauns hidden prize. They are a part of me that I keep guarded in my treasure chest, held close to my heart forever. Love you bro. Sincerely, ROBERT LEE SANCHEZ
