Obituary For Linda Marie Semak (Kontowsky)

Linda Marie Semak (Kontowsky), 61, of Sterling Heights, MI, passed away April 19, 2023, of natural causes.

She was born to the late Gerald and Mary Kontowsky, October 2nd, 1961, in Detroit, MI. Linda attended Tower High School in Warren, MI.

Linda is survived by two children: Jamie Semak and Mark Semak. She is also survived by her brother, Jerry Kontowsky, her sister Laurie Breckling (Kontowsky), and an amazing grandchild that she adored, Gage Semak.

Linda was predeceased by her brother Robert Kontowsky as well as her sister Patty Kontowsky.

Linda was an energetic person who could find good in every situation that she faced. She passed her appreciation of life to both her children, along with anyone else that was fortunate enough to have met her. Linda was immensely proud of her family, her friendships, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

Celebration of Life will be held, May 19th, 2023, at 6 pm, at the Fraser Lions Club in Fraser, Michigan. In lieu of sending flowers, the family would appreciate donations towards a memorial bench that will be placed along the Dodge Park trail in Sterling Heights, MI. This bench will act as a place for people to reflect on their memories of Linda. Any donations above the cost of the bench will be donated in Linda’s name to no-kill animal shelters of Southeast Michigan.

    Linda and I were best friends in our teen years. The memories I have Linda was always laughing-smiling enjoying whatever mischief we were involved in, lol. We just had fun whether hanging out at the candy store or pulling all nighters.Linda always made everyone feel welcomed and loved. Though we wouldn't talk often over the years we always were able to pick up as though no time had gone by. My greatest conversation was in the last couple years we talked about the Lord and Linda had shared the importance of her relationship as a believer in Jesus. This was truly a joy to hear. I will see you again my friend, love and miss you!❤️
