  Pastor Larry Donald was the Chaplin for Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. I was an employee at the hospital and as a fellow Christian, I was blessed to see how he ministered so well to so many of our patients in their time of need. One of those patients was my brother who was so encouraged by Chaplin Donald's visits and prayers. Chaplin Donald also ministered to my family by conducting the marriage ceremony for my son and daughter-in-law and that marriage has been blessed! Our Lord Jesus is so pleased with the life and ministry of His beloved Larry Donald. Heaven is blessed by all those that Chaplin Pastor Teacher Larry Donald was able to minister to for the Glory of God!

  Losing my friend has left a deep ache in my heart, but I find comfort in knowing that being absent from the body means being present with God. I understand that you were unwell, and God called you to rest, having completed your mission of guiding others to follow Christ in such a clear and accessible way. I am truly grateful for the role you played in rekindling my faith during my struggles. You and your wife were instrumental in my healing journey and reigniting my passion for the Music Ministry, the church community, and my relationship with God. Saying goodbye to the past is incredibly difficult, and I appreciate how you supported my son in his ministry. The Donald family has always been there for us. I have no doubt that your rewards in heaven will be immense, filled with many crowns. Rest well from your labors and enjoy your rewards, Pastor Larry Donald.

  I AM SO BLESSEDTHAT OUR GREAT LORD PUT PASTOR LARRY AND HIS BEAUTIFUL WIFE CONSTANCE IN MY LIFE. HE WAS MORE THAN AN INCREDIBLE MAN HE SOARED WITH THE ANGELS!!! I HAD THE PRIVALAGE AND ABSOLUTE HONOR TO BE ONE OF HIS DOCTORS. HE WAS AN INCREDIBLE FRIEND AND SUCH AN INSPIRATION TO ME!!!! HIS WISDOM WAS BOUNDLESS.HE ALWAYS SHOWED AND LIVED LIFE WITH TRUE KINDNESS AND LOVE!!!! WHAT AN HONOR THAT GOD PUT SUCH A GREAT MAN AND HIS BEAUTIFUL WIFE CONSTANCE IN MY LIFE!!!! A TRUE BLESSING FROM HEAVEN. I HAVE TREATED CLOSE TO 100 THOUSAND PATIENTS AND LARRY WAS A MAN I TRULY ADMIRED AND ADORED, SUCH AN INCREDIBLE MAN!!!! EVEN OVER THE LAST YEAR WHERE HE HAD TO ENDURE SUCH PHYSICAL AGONY AND SUFFERING HE CARRIED HIMSELF DIGINITY AND VIRTURE, NEVER CARING ABOUT HIMSELF ONLY OTHERS. THIS INCREDIBLE MAN SHAPED ME NOT ONLY TO STRIVE TO BE THE MAN I CAN BE BUT ALSO THE TYPE OF DOCTOR I SHOULD BE. I TRULY BELIEVE GOD SENDS YOU ANGELS TO LEARN AND GROW FROM. WE SHOULD ALL TRY TO LIVE A LIFE LIKE LARRY!!!!! I CAN STILL HEAR HIS VOICE IN MY HEART AND SOUL.I AM CRYING WRITING THIS. HE IS AN EXAMPLE HOW WE ALL SHOULD LIVE OUR LIVES!!!! I AM ETERNILTY GRATEFUL TO THIS GREAT MAN. HE SHAPED AND MODELED ME. WHAT GREATER THING CAN A PERSON DO??? A DOCTOR CAN RELIEVE PAIN BUT WHAT GREATER THING CAN A PERSON DO THAN SAVE SOULS!!!!!!! ABSOULELY NOTHING!!!! HE WILL FOREVER BE IN MY HEART SOUL. I CONSIDER HIM MY BROTHER AND MENTOR!!!! WHAT A BLESSING IT IS TO HAVE GOD PUTS SOMEONE SO INCREDIBLE IN YOUR LIFE AND TEACHES YOU TRUE LIFE LESSONS, I KNOW THEY ARE ANGELS!!!! I HAVE NEVER RESPECTED ANYONE MORE!!!! I LOVE YOU MY BROTHER!!!   To the Donald family, I pray that the Lord will comfort your hearts. Larry Donald was not only my pastor teacher, he was my friend. He helped me through some of the most difficult times in my life by praying for me when I didn't have the strength or words to pray for myself. He laughed with me through the joyous times. Thank you for teaching me to call on the Lord. He also had a great sense of humor. I thank you pastor for teaching me the word, through your teaching I grew more and more in love with Jesus. You are now resting in the loving arms our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I am forever thankful for leadership.
