In Loving Memory of Kriston Jo Cutlip
December 14, 1979 – October 19, 2026
Kriston Jo Cutlip was born on December 14, 1979, and passed away on October 19, 2026. Though her time on this earth was far too short, there is no doubt that she left behind a lifetime of memories, love, laughter, and a legacy that will never be forgotten.
Kriston was one badass woman. She was a free spirit who marched to the beat of her own drum and never needed anyone's permission to be herself. With her love for all things goth, witchy, and a little dark, and her favorite color being purple, she had a style and personality that were uniquely hers. She wasn't made to fit into anyone else's mold, and that's exactly what made her special.
But underneath that tough exterior was a woman with a heart full of love for her family. Kriston was the kind of mother who would love and protect her children and the people she loved like a lion. You could mess with a lot of things, but messing with her family was never one of them. Her love was fierce, protective, and unconditional.
Kriston also had a sense of humor that could shine through even the hardest moments. No matter what life threw her way, she had a way of making jokes and finding something to laugh about. It was one of the many things that made her unforgettable, and a little piece of that same humor lives on through her daughter.
Kriston wasn't just a mother. She was a daughter, a grandmother, an aunt, a cousin, a sister, and much more; a one-of-a-kind soul who touched the lives of those around her. She leaves behind Kevin Stiltner, Madisyn Brown, Collin Stiltner and his wife, Amanda Stiltner, and her one and only grandchild, Bub Stiltner, who will forever hold a special place in her family's heart.
Her absence will be felt in the little things: the conversations that won't happen, the jokes that won't be told, the holidays that won't feel quite the same, and the moments when her family wishes they could just have one more hug, one more laugh, or one more day with her.
The world has lost one hell of a woman, but heaven has gained a purple-loving, free-spirited, badass soul.
Kriston may be gone from this world, but her spirit will live on through her children, her grandchild, her family, and every person who carries a memory of her.
She didn't follow the rules, she didn't blend in, and she sure as hell wasn't ordinary. She was Kriston, and there will never be another one like her.
