
UPDATED 25-Aug-2025 Celebration of Life
Kenneth LeRoy Angliss, 83, of Redford Michigan, passed away on July 12th, 2025 after a battle with dementia. He was born January 15, 1942, in Detroit Michigan to the late Morgan T. and Florence (Pearson) Angliss.
Ken graduated in 1960 from Redford High School. He was drafted into the US Army and served in Vietnam as a Chaplin Assistant. He worked in shipping at Detroit Diesel for 30+ years. He took pride in knowing all the drivers by name and formed friendships with many.
Ken was married to Gail Brennfleck for 17 years and has 3 sons: Mark (Jenni) of Saginaw, David (Lori) of Redford and Peter of Westland.
Ken best served his Lord through his music. He was usually found behind the keys of an organ or piano at his place of worship. Ken was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Livonia.
Ken always enjoyed the companionship of his dogs and in more recent years a cat. He took pride in nurturing and raising a variety of birds. He was a very giving person and took great joy in helping others, especially with curb appeal of their homes. He often spent time pulling weeds or pushing a mower.
Ken was predeceased by his parents Morgan T. Angliss and Florence Angliss, and 3 brothers: Edward, Morgan B. and Bernard.
Ken is survived by 2 sisters: Marilyn (John) Rice of Plymouth and Carilyn (Bob) Beabout of PA., his sons: Mark, David and Peter, and his grandchildren: Elizabeth Angliss, Rebecca Angliss, Christopher Angliss, Emily Angliss and Hannah Angliss.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place on Friday, September 26th, 2025, at Bethel Baptist Church of Livonia, located at 29475 Six Mile Rd., Livonia, MI 48152, from 6:00pm - 7:30pm.
