A LIFE WELL LIVED LIVES ON FOREVER

Kenneth Erwin Thomas, lovingly known to family and friends as 'Kenny,' was born on January 15, 1966, to the late Dorothy Lee Thomas and William Arthur Thomas Sr. Kenny was the beloved baby boy of seven children and brought his own special energy and personality to the Thomas family.Kenny attended Cass Technical High School and throughout his adult life worked as a warehouse worker. He was a hardworking man who believed in enjoying life and making the most of every moment. To know Kenny was to know laughter. He was a kind-hearted soul who was full of life, jokes, and unforgettable stories. Kenny loved to have a good time and could always find a reason to laugh or make someone else laugh. And while he was known for his playful spirit, those who knew him best also knew that Kenny would definitely let you know when you had gotten on his nerves. Sitting still was never Kenny's style. He enjoyed being on the move, spending time with friends, partying, cooking, and being surrounded by the people he loved. Whether he was preparing something good to eat, sharing a joke, or simply enjoying time with family and friends, Kenny knew how to bring life into a room. Family meant so much to Kenny, and the memories made with him will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. Kenny was preceded in death by his loving mother, Dorothy Lee Thomas; his father, William Arthur Thomas Sr.; and his siblings, William Arthur Thomas Jr., Anthony, and Tracy. He now joins them in eternal rest. He leaves to cherish his precious memory his stepmother, Martha; his younger sisters, Darlene, Stephanie, and Raquel; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Although Kenny's physical presence will be deeply missed, the joy, laughter, love, and memories he gave to his family and friends will live on forever. His family will remember his humor, his big personality, his love of cooking, and the way he enjoyed simply living life on his own terms. Kenny's journey on earth may have ended, but the love he shared will remain with us always.
