Obituary For Karen Sue Klobuchar

Karen Sue Klobuchar, of Westland, MI, passed away on June 1, 2022, after a relatively short bout with cancer.

Left to cherish her memory is Mother Geraldine ‘Gerry’ Klobuchar; her two sons, Steven Klobuchar and William Garchow; daughter-in-law Nicole Klobuchar; brother John Klobuchar (Melissa Klobuchar); nephews Jacob, Joshua and Joseph Klobuchar; long-time companion and friend John Garchow; along with uncles, aunts, cousins and many close friends who were like family to her. Karen is predeceased by her father, James Klobuchar

Karen was born on November 9, 1970, and spent most of her life in Livonia, MI. She attended Livonia Franklin High School, and held many jobs over the years ranging from waiting tables to working on the assembly line at an auto parts manufacturer. She loved animals and always found it very difficult to turn away a stray. She also enjoyed baking, and her most cherished moments were getting together as a family and enjoying one another.

A private memorial service will be held by close family later this summer.
