Poems
Nana Remember Me
You can shed tears that I am gone, Or you can smile because I've lived. Your heart can be empty because you can't see me, or you can let it be full of the love that we shared. You can remember and think only that I'm gone, or you can cherish my memory and let it live on. You can live in the sorrows of yesterday, or you can do what I would want for you: Greet tomorrow with hope, love, and go on.
Promise I will, Nana
Big Brother, Your Memory Will Never Fade My big Brother now that you are gone You're no longer here to share The bond we had together, A bond of love and care Yet, somehow something tells me You are watching over me, Now gone from worldly cares You are finally free I miss you so very much And my tears I cannot hide Yet, within my heart, I feel You are always by my side Ever since you went away Life has never been the same Yet it comforts me to know That one day we'll meet again Love, Lynn & Shadel
Remember Me
Remember me with smiles not tears, For all the joy through all the years. Recall the closeness that was ours, A love with many shades of flowers. Don’t dwell on the thoughts that cause you pain, We’ll see each other once again. I am at peace…try to believe, It was my time…I had to leave. But “what a view” I have from here, I see your face, I fell you near. I follow you throughout the day, You’re not alone along the way. And when God calls you… you will be Right by my side… right here with me. Till then, I’ll wait by Heaven’s door. We’ll be united… Evermore.
