Jeffrey Sanders, of Detroit, Michigan was born on April 4, 1960 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Albert Lee Sanders Sr.
He passed away unexpectedly on June 11, 2026.
Jeffrey was educated in the Detroit Public School system. He possessed amazing scholastic abilities.
Jeffrey also developed fine work ethics beginning with his paper route as a young child on Detroit’s Eastside. Those work ethics remained with him while working various jobs including his favorite position as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Wayne County’s Parks Division for several years. Jeffrey retired early due to a life altering brain injury. He loved his job and was an excellent provider for his family.
The depth of his intellectual prowess was very profound. He could really captivate his audience no matter who it might’ve been. You would definitely be left with a lasting impression.
His sense of humor was giant. The things he came up with to poke fun at life and people in general. You would be in stitches especially when he’d be trying so hard to keep a straight face and suddenly he busted out in the heartiest screaming laughter ever.
Jeffrey loved knowledge, especially studying law and practicing it in his own right and way. From local ordinances right on up to federal laws and court procedures, that man definitely knew his stuff.
On May 19, 1992 he met his match and the love of his life. His “Elected Lady” as he would say of her. They shared many historical firsts together and were married on July 23, 1999.
But the true love of his life was his beautiful baby girl “Poo Poo” as he so affectionately called her.
She was born November 1998 to the late Pamela L. Johnson. Jeffrey maintained full custody of his most treasured jewel. He was a proud, and super protective father. She is most definitely his little mini-me.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 34 years Tiyani Z. Sanders, his darling daughter Eulisha T.R. Sanders, one brother Albert L. Sanders Jr., three dedicated sisters Patricia A. Flemister, Janet Sanders, Bridgette Floyd (Barry), and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. His absence will be deeply felt.
One last thought for those who know… How are you doing Jeffrey? His famous reply would be , “I’m TERRIBLE! But I’m hopeful!”
A “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date.
...If a man should die,
can he live again?...
