Obituary For James P. Leland

Celebrating the life and cherished memories of James Porter Leland. Born January 3, 1950 - Died January 31, 2020. Please join us for a memorial service honoring Jim Leland. It will be held at the Fisher Funeral Home, 24501 Five Mile Road, Redford Township, Mi 48239, on Saturday, February 8th, 2020 from 2-5pm (Reflection Gathering 2-4pm, Memorial Service at 4pm)

Survived by his children Jennifer (Jimmy) Fedishin, Andrea (Sam) Quinn, and Michael Leland; Grand Children James Fedishin Jr., and Skyler Quinn. He will also be remembered by his siblings Kara (Doug) Frank, Ron (Sherry) Leland, and Dave (Patrice) Leland, as well as his five nephews Roy, Rod (Robyn), Jeremy, Jason and Mathew, and his beloved dog Cristal.

    Deepest sympathies on the loss of a James Leland. I only have met Jim a few years ago in a hotel, and Leland was the Leland Hotel, ironic it is. James, the name, I think of James West of the Movies and TV "Wild Wild West" with Robert Conrad. I will remember Jim for the name of Leland Hotel, and crystal his Service dog needed. He was 1 of the few that actually would make a Traditional Telephone Call. Will miss the telephone Calls. Mary Catherine Braczy
