From my earliest memories I have, I remember dad's side of the family. Alot of time was spent at grandma's and uncle Tom's weekend barbecue's. I remember the closeness you could sense in all the aunts and uncle's and the whole family for that fact. Those times are surely missed. And Uncle Ronnie is definitely in those memories. From him giving my my first taste of a Michelob beer in grandma's driveway in Petersburg when I was 8ish to working for him the summer after 10th grade at Big Boys. I enjoyed that summer I got alot closer to Uncle Ronnie. But on my favorite memories, One that stood out and stuck with me was at a table at Big Boys with dad and Uncle Ronnie. Dad and Uncle Ron was talking and Uncle Ron said "I'm just gonna throw it the floor and sorry if it hurts your feelings " that was Uncle Ron, he was confident, not afraid to speak his mind regardless, he'd help you if he could and you could tell he was not to have on his bad side and you could tell he really loved you and you were just glad to be family. Uncle Ron you were loved and will definitely be missed.
