Isaac McDavid and I became friends in the middle 60' s. After we completed our military service we shared a lot of partying, numerous picnics with friends, Detroit Lions football games and bowling tournaments trips. He was always welcomed at all my family events on holidays or just a backyard cookout. My children affectionally called him " Uncle Ike ". He was very great with computers and latest technology. One trip we went to Columbus Ohio to bring his Fiat home because he was unsure it would make it back to Detroit. Unfortunately, Ike dropped off the grid and I didn't know why. HE stopped answering his phone his house was empty. My family and I tried for many years to find him to no avail. I truly miss a great friend and someone I consider a true brother. Bill Harrell

In Loving Memory of Isaac ("Ike") With deep sadness, I mark the passing of my beloved cousin, Isaac, fondly known to many as Ike. Ike was a truly amazing man with a brilliant, analytical mind. He possessed a vast wealth of knowledge, particularly when it came to computers and technology. He was the kind of person who used his skills to quietly elevate others. When I was finishing up my degree and felt overwhelmed trying to find the right tools, Ike stepped in. Thanks to his guidance, I didn't just get a new laptop—he made sure I had every necessary app, setting me up completely for success. Beyond his technical brilliance, Ike was a rock during difficult times. Though he was a private man, his warmth and subtle humor always shone through. In our very last conversation, true to his humble nature, he joked, "I'm doing ok for an old man." We remained close and stayed in touch right up until he fell ill. His quiet strength, his willingness to help, and the genuine bond we shared will never be forgotten. The world has lost a bright light and a kind heart. Rest well, cousin. You are deeply missed. 🤍
