  My Dearest Mama you were a walking encyclopedia a genius. Your intellectual abilities afforded you the opportunity to win a chemistry scholarship. Not only that you won the highest score within the United States till this very day no one has won the highest score since you did. I have always love to read one day I started to read and it was about this man who was a genius man born 1801. After reading I saw his picture of him I was astonished because you look like him. Come to find out he is your great-great-grandfather. Mom you are truly missed I can't believe you have gone on to Glory. May The Creator of Grace bless & rest your soul forever more.

  Great Aunt Gertha. I know it's been well over a decade since I met you for the first time in person shortly after grandpa fella passed. Thank you for welcoming us with open arms being so compassionate, loving, gentle soul. I remember before Dad passed you and him speaking for hour... lol something y'all had in common. Give grandpa (your big brother)and Dad (nephew) a hug and kiss for me. Rest easy Angel🤍🤍🤍

  People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle was my Grandmother, Gertha Lee Bryson a woman full of second chances, love, wisdom, recipes, life lessons & never ending conversations. We had a lot of similarities both very intuitive, particular, observing & spiritually in tune. After catching up with you at family gatherings I always avoided you, because you had this thing where you would stare me down from across the room then call my mom the next day & tell her everything you thought I was going through or how I felt & You were right every time. As I got older I started to realize that every time I avoided you it was, because looking at you was like looking in the mirror at a reflection of myself. A person that went through traumatic situations but never wanted pity, a few secrets but that's nobodies business right lol? It should be noted that there was no way I could hide from you because you picked up on everything. I never said goodbye whenever I left you & I won't start now, because I know I'll see you later my source of wisdom & security.
