On January 20, 1961 in Clinton, Tennessee Freddie was born to Fred and Wanda Cox. He later went on to become a big brother to Anna, Sherry and Misty. Mr. Cox Jr., was proceeded in death by David Lynn Cox, Freddie Lawrence Cox Sr., Wanda Cox, Leslie Lawrence Hamoud and Renee. He is survived by Anna Cox, Sherry Cox, Misty Cox, three nephews, 2 nieces and 17 great nieces and nephews. Freddie shared memories as a child riding his tricycle in the hills of Beachgrove, Tennessee, playing pinball at Fox's Diner. Everyone called him "Little Freddie". Baseball was always his favorite sport, he played on a few youth leagues, he was an awesome first baseman. Norm Cash #25 of the Detroit Tigers was Freddie's idol. He also enjoyed listening to music such as Johnny Cash and Led Zeppelin to name a couple. He later relocated to Ohio and then to Detroit, Michigan. Where he then attended schools such as, Glorious Freedom Mission, Burton and southwestern High School. Freddie recevied his G.E.D. in the early 1980's. His jobs included, Lindells AC, Checker Cab, Sears and Stanley's Advertising with his brother-in-law Leslie Keener. Here in most recent times Freddie's hobbies included watching Tom Brady or teasing his brother-in-law Timothy McCaig about the loosing Detroit Lions. He also enjoyed a trip to MGM Casino. Freddie's impeccable sense of humor never left him, he made us laugh and giggle up until his passing. Freddie was a loving son, a caring brother, helping uncle and a loyal friend. Freddie will be missed dearly and our lives will never be the same.
