Obituaries

Freddie D. Young affectionately known as Lillon was born 7/27/1951 to the late union of Sefus and Willie Mae Young in Lewisville, Arkansas. Lillon was 1 of 14 children and a twin.

In the early 1950s the Young family migrated to Detroit, Michigan where Lillon received education in the Detroit public school system then going on to gain employment in the automotive industry. With life twist and turns Lillon spent time away from his family reuniting with us again in 2018.

On 10/11/23 God called Lillon home with family at his bedside.

Preceding him in death were his mother and father, 8 brothers and 2 sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memories: 2 sisters; Pearlie Young of Detroit, Mi, Barbara Latham of Belleville, Mi,1 brother; Larry Young of Westland, 1 son; Eric Robinson of Kalamazoo, MI 1 daughter; Courtery Fradette of Madison Heights, Mi, 2 special nieces; Denise (Damon) Young of Detroit, Mi, Kimberly (Jimmie) Chandler of Belleville, Mi; 2 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He will be deeply missed.
