It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved wife and mother, Evonne Jacquline Denton(Née Todd), who left this world on 12/01/2025 at the age of 43

Evonne was the mother of four sons, each of whom carries forward her spirit, resilience, and the pieces of love she offered in her own way. Though life brought distance and circumstances that created estrangement.

Born in Michigan, Evonne grew into a woman who faced life’s challenges with determination and an independent spirit. She valued simplicity, privacy, and finding her own path. Those who knew her remember her for her quiet humor, her stubborn strength, and the way she kept moving forward, even when life was hard.

She loved crafts of all kinds bringing small ideas to life through color, texture, and imagination. Creating and decorating was her way of expressing herself, and her work brought warmth and beauty into the world.

She is survived by her four sons: Anthony, Joseph, Clyde III, Sean, who mourn her in their own ways and honor the complex love that existed between them. She is also survived by Husband Clyde JR, Brother Jack, Sister in-laws Lesley, Candie, Jamie. And her Parent In-laws Ida and Clyde Sr.

Though her journey was not an easy one, her life mattered, her story matters, and she will be remembered with compassion and memories.
