Dennis Gregory was one of the funniest men you could ever have the pleasure of knowing. He had a gift for making people laugh, whether he was cracking jokes, sharing one of his many stories, or singing love songs to his beloved wife, Therese.

Dennis grew up in Detroit with his parents, Charles and Anne Gregory, along with his seven brothers and one sister. He later enlisted in the United States military (Army), where he served in Vietnam and spent time living in the jungle. After his military service, Dennis began a long and dedicated career with UPS, delivering packages along the same route for 30 years. He later continued his career at the airport, where he worked for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for 10 years before retiring.

To everyone who knew him, Dennis was a man full of humor, stories, and knowledge. He could talk for hours about airplanes, the universe, the military, politics, and just about anything else that sparked his interest. His stories and conversations were often as memorable as the man himself.

But while Dennis had many interests and could entertain a room with his humor and stories, what mattered most to him was his family—especially his wife of 35 years, Therese. Dennis and Therese met in 1989 and were married in 1991. Their love was a beautiful example of devotion and commitment. Dennis cared deeply for Therese and dedicated himself to her well-being, remaining by her side and caring for her until the very last day of his life.

Dennis was thoughtful, outgoing, cherished, and compassionate. He had a generous heart and cared about the people around him, often putting others before himself. He leaves behind not only a family who loved him deeply, but also countless people whose lives were brighter because they had the privilege of knowing him.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Anne Gregory; his brothers, Bill Gregory (2021) and Steven Gregory (2022); and his first wife, Christine Gregory.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Therese Gregory; his children, Kimberly Staelgraeve (Michael), Heather Stone, and Jason Stone; his grandchildren, Chase Stone (Cherry), Jordan Nightingale (Paige), Sabrina Barrett, Marissa Staelgraeve, and Alexander Staelgraeve; and his great-grandchildren, Aerith Nightingale and Vincent Nightingale. He is also survived by his remaining brothers and sisters, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Dennis will be remembered for his laughter, his stories, his kindness, his devotion to Therese, and the love he gave so freely to those around him. He leaves behind memories that will be cherished forever and a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion that will live on through his family.
