I only just found out about David's passing last night. Like Tim and John, I worked with David at Booth Communications. It was my first job and we started about the same time in 1986. He was always cracking me up and we became lifelong friends. I can not picture David without a smile on his face. He put smiles on people's faces with ease. There surely was nobody else like him. I am still trying to process this. Sighhh RIP David

David was always smiling and laughing. When we both worked as ticket takers for the Palace, David would usher people coming in the door to his turnstile. I used to tease him that he was stealing guests from the rest of us. We were always kidding each other. You will be missed my friend.

I also worked with David for many years at Booth Communications/MediaOne/Comcast. Dave was always so positive and helpful. He was a great friend to me and would often have us laughing so hard there were tears in our eyes. Dave and I went snowmobiling in northern Michigan in the early 1990s. He and I crossed 5 miles of ice to visit Mackinac Island on snowmobiles. Like Tim Funk has said, David spent many hours working his multiple jobs and had a very kind/friendly family. My family and I will miss our friend Dave so much. We will think of him each time we visit LCA or Meadowbrook Theater where I saw him working over the summer.
