Darrell D. Jones, the only child born to the late Emma Jean Jones, was born August 5, 1967 in Detroit, Michigan. On September 20, 2026, Darrell affectionately known as Bro J departed this life after a brief illness, leaving behind a legacy of family, friendship, laughter. He was an 8-year Army veteran, truck driver, Thanksgiving Parade float driver,motorcycle rider, Dallas Cowboys fan, racquetball enthusiast, son, brother, uncle, husband, father, “Pop Pop,” and friend. Each role became another chapter in the story of his life and another opportunity to leave his mark on the people around him.
