Obituary For Charles Gordon Blanchard

Blanchard,

Charles Gordon, aged 46 of Warren, Michigan. Mr Blanchard, known to many as a jovial spirit and a dedicated family man. He was born, Tuesday, July 25, 1978 in Westland, Michigan. He left us too soon on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Sterling Heights, Michigan. Though his time with us was shorter than we had hoped, he left behind a legacy of love, laughter and resilience that will be cherished forever.

Charles or “Chaz” as his friends often called him, was a master of banter. If you were within earshot, you were sure to hear his signature “shit - talking”, always delivered with a grin that let you know it was all in good fun. His infectious laugh & knack for cracking jokes could brighten the darkest of days and his prideful nature was only matched by his fierce determination. He was a fighter in every sense. Never backing down from life's challenges and always encouraging those around him to do the same.

Chares took the greatest pride in his role as father and grandfather. His children, Tyler, Victoria and Hailey were truly the lights of his life. He poured his heart into being the best dad he could be. He offered much guidance peppered with humor and life lessons. As grandfather to Leeland, he took on the special title of “friend”, forming a bond that was as playful as it was profound.

Though he is pre-deceased by his beloved parents, Betty Louise and Charles Blanchard, the strength they instilled in him was evident in every aspect of his life.

He is survived by his children, Tyler, Victoria and Hailey. Who carry forward his spirit and laughter, alongside many friends and extended family who were touched by his generous heart and unwavering spirit.

Charle's life, while not defined by grandiose achievements, was marked by the quieter, yet infinitely more meaningful victories of family, friendship, and enduring love. He leaves us with a treasure trove of memories and a reminder to always find the humor in life, to fight the good fight, and to cherish every moment with those we hold dear.

In remembering Charles, we honor not just a life well-lived, but a man who lived well.

I am so sorry for your loss, I just talked to Chaz on April 9, this is still hard to believe. Oh, I remember when Chaz was a little boy he would come over and bounce his basketball off my wall. I cannot tell you how many times I had to yell at him, but he finally stopped. He was always full of energy. always curious, always caring. I will be keeping you all in my prayers. May God bless you with peace and comfort. Love Aunt Dianna
