Carter B. Pittman passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 20th, in Allen Park, Michigan.
He was born on September 18, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan, to Horace and Juanita Crewell
Pittman.
Carter graduated from Northwestern High School in 1979, where he excelled in both baseball
and basketball. He later moved to Arizona to continue his education and pursue his passion for
sports. He attended Grand Canyon College (now Grand Canyon University) and went on to earn
his accounting degree from the University of Phoenix. Throughout his adult life, Carter worked
as an accountant and mortgage loan officer.
Carter enjoyed music, playing pickup basketball, and spending time around sports. He took
pride in being involved in his children’s lives whenever he could. In his later years, he returned
to Detroit, where he resided at the time of his passing.

he was deeply loved, and his life mattered. He is survived by his children: Cedric (Sarah)
Pittman and Andrew; Halle (Peter) Hansen and Layla; Makenna (Dre) Marin and Jada; and
