Carl Morris Wilson AKA “Tiny”

Carl was born the second child of nine children born to Yourye and Anna (Richardson) Wilson. Carl was proceeded in death by Ralph- Pee Wee, Darius- Dollbaby, Gerald- JJ, Craig- Myss, Diane and Danny- Dan the man. He was educated by the Detroit Public School system, attending Hickenbocker Elementary, McDowell Middle School and Mumford High School. Carl was a man before he was a man. Carl was a resident of Detroit, Michigan for 78 years. He began working at the age of 14, at a Chinese food restaurant, car wash and his Father’s car wash. This connection jumpstarted his love for cars. He began building, racing buying and selling cars. He dazzled in other metals as well, collecting, designing and selling as a proprietor of Intimate Jewelry LLC. If it sparkled Carl was connected to it, he brought two beautiful Jewels into the world, that sparkle; Tammy Selena and Christy Love. Carl also loved boating and the boating lifestyle. Which he enjoyed for years in Wyandotte's MotorCity Marina, where he spent his days in the sun light and sunsets. He dazzled friends from across the county with his charm. One of Carl’s greatest loves was being big Toys, he was held in high esteem through his connection with his Motorcycle Clube. He began the “Maad Dogs od Detroit Michigan. This club stands with him today, he reigned as president from 1970-1980. Carl never stopped moving, he revved engines and worked with “Ford” motor company in Dearborn, Michigan from 1963 until 1998. THer are far more avenues in business and adventure he traveled. It would take the whole day to mention. Carl was a social butterfly who could capture you with just a few good words. He loved to travel. He traveled across the U.S. and the Canadian border. Where he found the love of his life. A sweet, sassy and sexy little lady in a record shop. Her name was Lee, Lee for Love. They later married on June 11, 1983. He was a man before he was a man, yet he was a man and when God called his name early on Wednesday afternoon, he had just said on that Sunday after “I will be around, I have a lot to do.” Carl leaves behind his memory to his loving wife Lee Wilson, Mother; Anna (Richardson) Wilson, Sister; Carolyn Wilson Brown and Husband; Steve Brown, Brother Glynn ‘Sweet Meat Wilson and Wife Angela Wilson, Daughter Tammy McClain and Christie Williams, Granddaughter Latalia Watson and great grand daughters'; Niyae Jones and Nariah Watson. And a host of other family members; nieces, nephews' cousins and friends.

There is nothing I wanted more then to be ‘Daddy’s Little Girl’, nothing meant more to me in this whole wide world. I watched you and studied you because I wanted to be by your side. I wanted to know who this mastermind was and what he was capable of inside. I knew you worked day and night to make all of your dreams come true. Building cars, shinning boats and selling jewelry are just some of the things you knew. So as years and years passed God had finally answered the question I asked, that we will always love one another and that our love will forever last. And God replied Always. -Love Your Daughter Tammy

Tiny,

Wow, we were all together Sunday and had a great time wrapping your boat. The smile on your face was priceless and that made me happy. We left there going home but you had other plans for us that evening you wanted us to se your Motor cycle club. I was extremely excited to meet some of the most important people in your life, your other family. I am gonna miss you but I’ll never forget you. -Love your sister-in-law (Sister) Angie

My Big Brother,

All the times we spent together and all the things we shared. Bikes, cars and memories on your boat. You were a great big brother, I will always love you for that. Things will never be the same Tiny. But I know you are in a better place. Tell Dad and the rest of the family “Hello.” -Love your brother Glenn

What is understood does not need to be explained. Love you now and forever -Danique

My hear is crying for you, you left so suddenly that I didn’t know what to do. I will be strong, because one day I will see your smiling face and all this pain will instantly be erased. Even though I have a hole in my heart, help from God will give me a new start.

-Love Your Wife Lee

Big Brother . . . until we meet again. I cried when you passed away, I still cry today. I can not hold back my tears. You hold a place in my heart that no one else can fill. I still got more stuff to make your apricot fried pie ( I do not eat them) it feels l ike my world is crashing down on me. Don't worry about my mom and me, Gooie got her. Tell my Dad PeeWee, Craig, Danny, JJ, Diane and Dollbaby I love them and I miss them. Love Ya'll baby Sister

My Uncle Carl meant a lot to me. A lot of people don't know that he helped pay my way through college. Carl was there when I was in trouble. We did not talk a lot because I was in another state. but when I arrive in Detroit it was like magic. My Uncle (Carl) was in inspiration to me in my life. I love oyu Ralph D. Wilson

Today, I sit here remembering my dad. As the youngest of his two daughters, I moved away from Detroit at a young age. However, I’m happy to say that distance never kept us apart. Every summer and most winters, I remember waiting in anticipation to go on my trip to visit my dad where he would teach me all about gold, diamonds, and cars. He would take me to every car show in town as I learned about all the many ways and latest trends in customizing cars. Going to car shows has remained a passion of mine till this day. It was so much fun to ride with him in his fancy cars and red motorcycle as we “showboated” around town and most recently in his boat. He was “Super Fly”, which he had no problem telling anyone just how true that statement really was. I maintain fond memories of our drives when he would patiently talk to me about the importance of saving money; to always keep my car clean and to always act like I was, “Cool like That”. He gave me my super star name, Christie Love, which has truly given me a big head; just like him. 😊 I’m grateful that he chose to best wife and stepmom in Momma Lee, who made sure to keep us both in line. And I’m also happy that he found his “son” in my husband, Earnest who became the best of buds and whose friendship brough us closer as I became older. I will forever miss our regular late nights chats where we talked about cars, car shows, boats, motorcycle clubs, movies, and diamonds where neither one of us wanted to end the phone call as he would say… “I love you more” and we would say it back and forth until I would say, “I love you times Infinity”. Well, I truly I love you times infinity, Dad. -Christie Love
