Brian Ira Truax, passed away at home on May 7th, after a brave battle with Cancer. Born in Plymouth on May 17, 1959 to the late Avis & Charles Truax. Survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Victoria. Beloved father of Sarah (Craig), & Matthew (Cara). Proud grandfather of Ava, Macy & Louis. Dear brother of Brad, Claudia (Larry) & Blenda (Dale). Brian is also survived by a large extended family & friends who miss him dearly. A life long resident of Plymouth Michigan, he was a dedicated husband, father & grandfather. He enjoyed holidays with his family & attending his granddaughters dance recitals, gymnastic meets & ice skating shows. Brian also loved to watch his grandson learn to ride his dirt bike, play with cars & looked forward to teaching him how to work on them as auto mechanics was something he passed down to anyone interested to learn. He also enjoyed fishing in the Great Lakes, tinkering with his classic cars, & spending time with his family. A dedicated employee at Ford Motor Company, his loss has been felt locally as well as around the world. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date, details will be announced by family when conditions allow.

To my dad, Brian Truax, you left us too soon! But I guess god knew you were tired & he needed you more. I never thought I would have to face the day that I'd live my life without you, but here I am. You were a fighter, a warrior & the best father a girl could ever have! Life will never be the same without you, but everyday I hope that it will get a little bit easier. To my mom, my brother & my entire family, we lost a great man! As we mourn our loss, lets never lose sight of the wonderful memories we have of & with my dad! I love you all
