In Loving Memory of
Barbara Ann Presberry
Our dear mother Bobbie as she was known, passed away on October 18, 2024 in the comfort of her home and surrounded by her two loved ones, Berta and Vincent. Bobbie was born on May 18, 1941 into the union of Squire & Clydia Isabell in Detroit, Michigan.
Bobbie attended Willow Run public schools. At an early age, she confessed her life to Christ as her personal savior and was baptized by Pastor J.H. Hammon at the Willow Run Baptist Church on Clay Hill. On January 13, 1967, she was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Robert Presberry.
Bobbie was a wonderful mother who was always there when anyone needed her the most to offer support, wisdom, and love in abundance. She was a friend to many and was cherished by all in her community. Bobbie had a passion for cooking and sharing her most delectable dishes. Bobbie went on to prepare meals for Sororities and Fraternities at The University of Michigan. Dressing up and traveling to Los Vegas, Los Angeles, and Washington with her friends, siblings, and children were some of the most exciting times in her life.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters: Mary Lee Carter, Terra Mae Simmons, Yvonne Walker and Patricia Isabell and one brother: Squire Isabell. Bobbie leaves to mourn her children: Zelda Gilberto and Vincent Ray (Wanda Isabell), sister Larita Freeman and brother in law George Simmons. Others include her grandchildren Shavon and Vincent Jr. great grandchildren: Malik and Ashton and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Barbara (Bobbie) Presberry touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all.
