
Arthur Anthony Candito, born December 31, 1951, passed away on January 21, 2026, in West Bloomfield, Michigan.
Arthur was a longtime resident of Garden City, Michigan, which he proudly called home. He retired from Ford Motor Company as an electrician where he spent many years working with dedication and pride.
In his free time, Arthur enjoyed the simple things that brought him peace and joy. He loved fishing, taking rides on his Harley, and camping, especially when it meant spending time outdoors and making memories with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Rosemary Candito, and his sister, Rita Shull.
Arthur is survived by his loving siblings, Angelo/Debbie, Teresa/Warren, Christine/Jim, and Robert Candito along with many nieces and nephews.
He leaves behind his cherished children: Anthony and Kristina Candito, Jason Candito, Christie Barnes, and Heather Huntley.
He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Ryan, Kyle, Isabella, Geonna, and Micah, who brought him great joy.
Arthur will be laid to rest, and a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring. Details will be shared with family and friends at a later date.
Arthur will be remembered for his hard work, love of the outdoors, and devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
