Lifting Donyell and her family up in love and prayer for comfort and strength. Al was a kindhearted neighbor, who always watched out for all. He was a devoted family man. We were blessed to witness Donyell and his amazing love for one another. It was a joy to watch him hanging out with his grandchildren. Yes, he was a truly a loving family man. Rest in God's loving arms All, for you have earned your sweet rest.

Al was a good man and a role model to his family, young men and his neighborhood. He was a man of his word. If he told you he would do something or you asked him to do something, you could bet on it getting done. After being around Al a couple of times, I knew that my niece Donyell, Chelcea and Jay was in good hands. Al and I became brothers. When I got married 6 years ago, I ask Al to stand with me and be my Best Man. Thank you Brother

My prayers are with you Donyell, Chelcea and Jay. I remember when Donyell invited my children and I for Thanksgiving dinner and we met Al for the first time. It was like we were meeting an uncle instead of a cousin. Al was so friendly and hospitable. Fast forward years later, I would invite them to our house for a Christmas party. My husband would later tell me "we should all go out to dinner, I like him." We never got to go out to dinner together; however, we will see you Al at the Great Feast. Isaiah 25 6:8 there is a great feast that the Lord will prepare for us. On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine-- the best of meats and the finest of wines. On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth." Rest In Peace, Al. Pamela Frattarelli

If you've ever been to the James/Stowers residence you felt an overwhelming sense of comfort and safety. Donyell being the comfort and Al being the safety. I'm saddened by the loss of Al, but extremely blessed to have known him and been on the right side of the fence with him lol. Love you Donyell, Chelcea, Jay and family ❤️

Words don't begin to describe what I feel. Al was like a Godfather to me. I thank God for putting Al in Donyell's life. I remember visiting with Donyell and Al and she showed me her bike and talked about how her and Al rode bikes. She offered for her and I to cruise around the neighborhood but advised how we needed to be careful. Al immediately interjected and went off in a way that only Al could about what would happen to somebody if anything happened to us on the bike ride! We laughed so hard but he was so serious! To this day I think about that and how funny it was to hear him go off! Hearing Al go off in general was a sight to see but nonetheless it was coming from a good place. Al was a devoted husband, a hard worker and amazing individual and he will truly be missed. Thank you God for sharing one of your angels with us. My prayers are with the family in this difficult time.
